Call for Art

About the Program
The Atrium Center is now accepting exhibitions and proposals for our 2027–2028 exhibition season. Art in the Atrium gives emerging artists the resources to realize a full exhibition in a premier East Montgomery County venue with exposure to thousands of guests throughout the year.

Who Can Apply
• Open to artists residing in Montgomery, Grimes, Harris, Liberty, San Jacinto, Walker and Waller Counties
• Any artist age 16 or older may submit one or more entries

What We’re Looking For
All mediums are welcome, including:
• Painting (watercolor, pastel, oil, acrylic, mixed media, charcoal)
• Digital art and photography
• Outdoor sculpture
Artwork that complements the facility’s color palette is preferred, but all entries will be considered.

The Exhibition
Selected work will be installed in designated areas for 365 days, beginning in January. Throughout the year, artists receive exposure through the venue’s day-to-day business and events, with their information displayed alongside their work and featured on our website.

Content Guidelines
All submitted work must be appropriate for a business setting. We’re unable to accept subject matter that is obscene, sexually explicit or that depicts political, religious, racially demeaning or otherwise inappropriate content.

Selection Process
Artwork is reviewed and selected by a five-person committee based on technical skill, quality and originality. The final selection and placement are approved by our director to ensure the exhibit reflects the professional character of the venue. This year’s exhibit will be curated by Alton DuLaney.

Deadline
All submissions are due by October 31, 2026.
